How do you book a wedding date?
Your wedding date is booked once you complete and sign a contract and submit a deposit.
How much is the deposit for a wedding and when is it due?
The deposit is 40% of your total package and is due with your contract to book your date. The remaining 60% is due 30 days before your wedding date.
Do you do destination weddings?
Yes! I have had the privilege of traveling with clients as far south as Puerto Rico and as far north as Minneapolis. I love capturing clients love stories wherever they want to tie the knot! Travel is arranged on a per client basis.
Do you provide partial day coverage?
Our packages are based on number of hours needed to ensure you are getting custom coverage that is the best fit for each client. Not every wedding needs full day coverage, so why pay for hours you don’t need?
What is your photography style?
Our work is described as simple, elegant, timeless, and emotional. We focus on storytelling and capturing the love, laughter and tears on your day.
When can we expect to see our event photos?
Wedding photos are delivered in 4-8 weeks.
How many images do you typically deliver for a wedding, an engagement shoot and corporate event?
For weddings, clients receive about 600-800 final edited images. An engagement session is about 70-100 final edited images. Corporate events vary depending on what we are photographing and the number of hours. Contact me for more information regarding corporate events!
Do you work with a second photographer?
I have an amazing team of second shooters, and I make sure to match the second shooter to best fit your event.
Can we provide you with a "shot list" of must have pictures?
Yes! For weddings, generally we focus on creating a detailed list of family combinations so we can move through those quickly. We love hearing about details, people, etc that are special. For corporate events, we find the more detailed the better since every corporate event is so unique
For portrait sessions:
What do you recommend for wardrobe during a portrait session?
I am a firm believer in “coordinating” as opposed to perfectly matching. I also recommend thinking about sticking with more solid wardrobe without text or logos. I think colors can depend on your location. With an outdoor nature setting, earth tones can look great (browns, greens, yellows) and with an urban setting, vibrant colors can really pop (bright pinks, greens, teals). Ultimately it is about expressing yourself, wearing what you love and what makes you feel good is the most important!
What are recommendations for locations in the Nashville area?
The portrait sessions are about you, what are your favorite places to go. Think of your favorite activities; We can express who you are in your portraits by utilizing locations that are part of who you are!
Should I bring props to my portrait session?
Props can be a great way to again express who you are. Do you love to ride bikes? Bring them along! Do you love to picnic in the park and drink wine? Lets have a picnic! Does you little one have a favorite toy? Lets play!
