Abigail has been pursuing her passion for photography since she was young, but specifically recalls her life taking a new direction when she was handed her first Pentax K1000 and a roll of film. Upon completing a degree in photography from Kent State University in 2004, photography became her full-time career. Abigail is a firm believer in being open to the path that life takes you on and has found that to be true with photography. Being open to the moments, the light, and the love of her clients, she captures the beauty we each posses.

Abigail Volkmann Photography has a team of photographers based out of Richmond, Virginia and photographs around the northern, central, and eastern part of the vastly diverse and beautiful state. Photography is also available outside these areas; please contact us for more information on travel availability and rates.
